The Unit in Sucre led dialogue sessions with returnee and relocated communities
Complying with the established biosafety protocols, the Territorial Directorate in this department listened to the concerns and proposals of the communities of the Sucrean villages.
With the main objective of adjusting and clarifying the actions contemplated in the Return and Relocation plans, the Sucre Territorial of the Victims Unit led several days of community dialogue with the communities of Chinulito, El Cerro, La Ceiba and Arenita, Calle Larga, Bajo don Juan and Vijagual rural districts in the municipality of Colosó.
The activity included the participation of leaders from each returned and relocated community, officials from the Colosó Mayor's Office, the municipal liaison and the official in charge of the returns and relocations component in the Sucre Territorial Area.
The territorial director of the entity, Isaac Hernández, indicated that with these spaces "the spaces for community participation continue to be expanded with a view to the social and economic integration of the households that returned or relocated in these villages".
Through community dialogues and other actions, the Unit ratifies its commitment to the victim communities that suffered forced displacement from their territories.
