Returns and relocations protocol is socialized in 12 municipalities of Magdalena Medio
The same activity is planned to be carried out in the remaining nine municipalities attached to this territorial address of the Unit.
In compliance with Resolution 3320 of 2019 of the Victims Unit, the group of returns and relocations of the entity in its Magdalena Medio Territorial Directorate, began a series of bilateral meetings with the 12 municipalities that have a Return and Relocation Plan (PRR ) approved and that they are included in the offer of special accompaniment schemes for 2020.
These socializations include the protocol of returns and relocations and non-ethnic community integrations and the PRR matrices of the communities that were approved and built through community dialogues with each of those 85 communities in the 12 municipalities.
These municipalities are: Barrancabermeja, Puerto Wilches, Sabana de Torres and Landázuri (Santander); Puerto Berrío and Yondó (Antioquia); Morales, Norosí, San Pablo, Santa Rosa del Sur, Simití and Rio Viejo (Bolívar).
“During the work sessions we also guide territorial entities in order to create the return and relocation tables assigned to some of the technical subcommittees of the respective municipality and which aims to measure progress in overcoming the vulnerability of families victims of forced displacement”, said Amparo Chicué, territorial director of the Unit in Magdalena Medio.
This activity was prioritized in the 12 municipalities mentioned, however the entity plans to develop it with the 21 municipalities that belong to the Magdalena Medio territory.
