The community of Ánimas Altas (Bolívar) reestablishes ties of trust, with psychosocial support
About 35 people participated in "Tejiendonos" Strategy day and all biosafety protocols were applied in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the municipality of Simití (Bolívar), with the returned community from the Ánimas Altas district, the Magdalena Medio Territorial Victims Unit implements “Tejiendonos” strategy through training the community, within the framework of psychosocial support.
For Amparo Chicué Cristancho, Magdalena Medio territorial director of the Victims Unit, "this is the fifth moment of this strategy in this community and the second in person due to the pandemic".
The official explained that ‘Tejiendonos’ is being carried out considering the articulation and learning of the return and relocation process in the different communities that have been victims of forced displacement.
Likewise, what we also "seek with this strategy is to advance in all actions aimed at strengthening the social network fractured by violence and reestablishing trust among the communities themselves and the communities and the State", added Amparo Chicué.
Finally, the director of Magdalena Medio Unit said that “for this fifth moment we are specifically talking about the processing of conflicts and coexistence. Through recreational and practical activities, a training space was made with the community to identify the forms of relationship they have there, in order to generate actions that favor coexistence. The return and relocation plan was also socialized, explaining how it is built and what it is for”.
About 35 people participated in the day and all the biosecurity protocols were applied in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic.
