A total of 30 members of the returned community of Ánimas Altas rural district, jurisdiction of the Simití municipality (Bolívar), were assisted by telephone by the Victims Unit.

According to Amparo Chicué Cristancho, territorial director of the Unit in Magdalena Medio, “the people assisted were previously identified through the psychosocial strategy 'Tejiendonos' and the idea was that they meet in a place where there was a better telephone signal to be able to attend said day, while a counselor, located in Barrancabermeja, made the telephone contact through three lines arranged for this purpose”.

It should be noted that Ánimas Altas community participated in “Tejiendonos” strategy and the initiative for the telephone service session arises from the articulation between the citizen service processes and the psychosocial reparation process of the Victims Unit.

The day took place between 8 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 30, and the goal of 30 people was met.

Most of the consultations were related to individual reparation and humanitarian care.

During the development of the day, all the biosafety protocols were applied in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic.
