Sucre communities recover social network, with psychosocial support
“Tejiendonos” strategy, implemented by the Unit, seeks to regain community relations and trust that were lost due to the armed conflict.
Guided by the psychosocial team of the Victims Unit, the communities of El Cielo and Rancho Rojo in the municipality of Chalán, in the department of Sucre, which suffered damage as a result of the conflict, developed the third meeting of the “Tejiendonos” strategy.
During the third meeting of traditional social practices, the community reflected on and recalled the practices that they previously carried out, the representative objects or symbols important to them. They also designed strategies to rescue these practices and continue to transmit them to children and adolescents.
The main objective of this strategy is to carry out actions to strengthen the social network and generate bonds of trust among the communities that are victims of forced displacement, the host communities, and the State.
