Green light for the return and relocation of victims in all the municipalities of Casanare
According to the Single Registry of Victims (RUV), in Casanare there are 14.312 victims of forced displacement.
In the expanded Territorial Committee for Transitional Justice of Casanare, in which the Victims Unit participated, the concepts of security in urban and rural areas of the 19 municipalities of the department were approved.
On this occasion, the members of the committee endorsed the security concepts of the urban area that were pending, corresponding to the municipalities of Paz de Ariporo, Trinidad and Támara.
Likewise, they approved the security concepts of the rural area of the municipalities of Yopal, Chámeza, Hato Corozal, La Salina, Maní, Monterrey, Nunchía, Orocué, Villanueva, Trinidad, Paz de Ariporo, Pore, Sabanalarga, Sácama, San Luis, Támara, Tauramena and Recetor.
The director of the Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Pardo Alezones, recalled that the municipality of Aguazul was the first to approve its security concepts and, therefore, it does not appear on the list.
In addition, the official celebrated the result of the day. "It is gratifying that this process has come to fruition and now we can process the return and relocation of victims throughout the Casanare territory", he said.
