
Victim care day will be held in Briceño to move forward with their comprehensive reparation
In order to guarantee access to the measures contemplated in the Victims Law, the Unit is present in this municipality of Antioquia.

On July 3 and 4, the Victims Unit will make a presence in the municipality of Briceño in order to guide and assist the population affected by violence in this municipality of Antioquia on its Integral Repair route.
The director of the Unit in Antioquia, Wilson Córdoba Mena explained that “in coordination with the local mayor's office and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), tools and resources are generated that allow the characterization of families that are lacking and the delivery of humanitarian aid to these vulnerable families, facilitating the closing of services and benefits gap that they had not been able to have before".
The official said that “the issues of documentation and characterization of situation of these families affected by the conflict and access to the individual reparation route will be advanced, which facilitates measures ranging from humanitarian assistance, emotional recovery and compensation economic".
In this day of comprehensive care about 150 victims of conflict in reparation process will be attended, who at the same time receive guidance from the municipality on the offer of institutional services such as education, health and employment.
For the month of July, the Unit for the Attention and Reparation of Victims will hold days of attention and orientation to the population affected by the conflict of the hand with the mayors and other institutions of the State to advance in the integral reparation of survivors in municipalities of Heliconia and Abejorral.
During the implementation of Law 1448, the Victims Unit has invested 1,493 million pesos in humanitarian assistance, administrative compensation and social and community infrastructure projects in the municipality of Briceño.
