Following the biosecurity protocols in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Victims Unit delivered 208 letters of compensation in the capital of Caquetá, worth more than $ 1.129 million.

The beneficiaries correspond to people over 74 years of age, with disabilities or catastrophic illnesses, belonging to the priority care route stipulated by resolution 1049 of 2019.

"This help is welcome thanks to God, for us it was a very big surprise in the midst of this situation and without being able to work, we are very grateful for taking us into account," said one of the beneficiaries who asked to reserve his identity.

These deliveries were carried out in person, however, the Unit works in the process of banking the victims of conflict, through agreements with banking entities, so that those affected by the violence receive payment of compensation from a safe way, facilitating the consignment of resources, and avoiding that these remain in the hands of third parties.
