Wilson Córdoba, director of the Victims Unit in Antioquia, said that the entity's officials "carry out accompaniment and advice to the municipal administration to provide all the necessary information. necessary for families, activating the routes of care and humanitarian assistance established in the Contingency Plan that is drawn up with each territorial entity”.
The official also explained that “with these shelter kits delivered, it is expected that families can have some elements to mitigate their basic needs, however, according to Law 1448, in the first instance the affected population is served by the municipality, then the department and if necessary, the Unit's offer to deliver the corresponding humanitarian aid is also activated”.
This Wednesday, the Extraordinary Transitional Justice Committee in the municipality, in which the Victims Unit is directly present, with the aim of coordinating the care components of this type of humanitarian emergency.
