Her husband, Juan Carlos Narvaez, was one of the deputies killed in captivity.

Fabiola Perdomo took office as director of the new territorial entity in the Valle del Cauca department.

Fabiola Perdomo is social communicator of the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente of Cali, with specializations in Municipal Government of the Javeriana University and Administrative Law at the Universidad Libre of Cali.

She has over 15 years of experience in the public sector; and has held important positions going from the popular election as councilor, secretary office of the mayor of Cali, Secretary of the Minister of Culture, and manager of the Biennial Salsa Cali, and advisor to the office of the governor of Valle del Cauca.

She assured that this new position represents a professional challenge, and that she is willing to serve the more than 480,000 victims recorded in the Valle del Cauca.

"From the land of Valle del Cauca we will lead processes to take care of the victims", Perdomo said.
