Victims Unit delivered endowment to educational institution of San Onofre, Sucre
Chairs, desks, boards, libraries, fans, concrete bench and filing cabinets, are some of the items delivered and that will be distributed in three classrooms.
The Sucre Territorial of the Victims Unit delivered a movable endowment to Aguacate Educational Center, located in the Cacique district, jurisdiction of the municipality of San Onofre (Sucre).
The Unit, in order to generate institutional and social capacities, reduce risk factors, overcome conditions of vulnerability, and strengthen community relations and collective work strategies, agreed with the San Onofre Mayor's Office to implement the Furnishings Endowment project Schoolchildren in this area of the municipality.
The delivery of the furniture was carried out in an act led by the director of the Victtims Unit Sucre territorial, Isaac Hernández, who was accompanied by the Secretary of Education, Leidys Berrío, parents and school counselors.
Esquelin Canchila, rector in charge of the institution, stressed that they had been requesting attention in academic matters, especially for receiving vulnerable children and young people, the majority, as well as relatives of victims of violence. "In good time the delivery of this material that represents the support of the State through the Unit, with communities that have returned to territories that were used by illegal actors".
For his part, the territorial director of the Unit informed the beneficiary community of the Unit's commitment to attend to all the guidelines of victims of violence and forced displacement, and to carry out different projects for the affected communities. "It also points to the commitment of technological equipment and agricultural projects", while recommending the care of donated educational implements.
