Approved the PAT for Simití (Bolívar)
The municipal administration of this town carried out a Transitional Justice Committee in which it approved the Territorial Action Plan (PAT).
The Territorial Director of the Victims Unit in Magdalena Medio, Amparo Chicué Cristancho, accompanied the Transitional Justice Committee of Simití (Bolívar), in order to monitor the implementation of the public policy of victims in the territory and verify the approval of the Territorial Action Plan (PAT).
In addition to the Unit and municipal administration officials, two members of the municipal victims' table attended this space, which was held virtually, as well as representatives of the Army and National Police and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare.
According to Amparo Chicué, "what we seek with the approval of this plan, is to work on the prevention and protection aspects, to overcome the situation of vulnerability of the victim families living in Simití and to promote the integral reparation of people based on the formulation and development of programs and projects”.
One of the components approved in the PAT is related to the improvement of the facilities of the Point of Attention to Victims of the municipality. In this regard, the territorial director of the Unit stated that "this intervention is essential within the framework of the improvement plan for ISO 450001 of 2018, which refers to health and safety at work, before which the municipal Administration designated in the Annual Investment Operational Plan a sum of $ 24 million for this purpose”.
Lastly, the official said that the approved PAT, which is a planning instrument, will serve to govern the designs of the Public Policy for Victims in Simití for the next four years.
