The government teams from 38 municipalities of Bolívar participated in the Technical Assistance Conference for the formulation and implementation of the Territorial Action Plan (PAT), as part of the "New Presidents and closure of local governments" strategies, led by the Ministry of the Interior and the Victims Unit.

The agenda included the socialization of tools to fill out the Territorial Action Plan, as well as the resources and sources of financing.

"This exercise will make it easier for municipal and departmental administrations to follow up on programs, projects and actions aimed at victims of conflict", said the Unit's territorial director in Bolívar and San Andrés, Miledy Galeano Paz.

Likewise, during the assistance session, the processes of the Unit and the actions that are being implemented were disclosed, in order to comply with the measures of Attention, Repair, Restitution, Rehabilitation and Guarantees of Non-Repetition, these being a fundamental part of the lines of work that must be reflected in the PAT, as part of the commitments of the territorial entities, to comply with the Public Policy of Victims.

"It is a work of collective construction; we highlight the numerous participation of the territorial entities, reaffirming their commitment to the victims that goes beyond a legal obligation. They are nine years of the Law and we cannot be inferior to the great challenges that come to us, and more in these moments of health emergency", said the territorial director.

Both the Ministry of the Interior and the Victims Unit will continue to accompany this process so that territorial action plans comply with legal requirements and allow strengthening, through local actions, comprehensive care for victims of the armed conflict.
