Memory and reparation for victims abroad
Several government entities and civil society organizations will gather on the 27th and 28th of August in Bogotá to tackle the issue of attention and reparation of victims in the borders and abroad. Aware of the importance of knowing what happened to thousands of Colombians who left the country due to the internal armed conflict, the organizers are compiling testimonies (audio, text, video) on their strength, and the way they managed to move forward.

Memory: victims’ testimonies
By having these testimonies from victims in different countries, it is aimed to talk about how diverse victimization was, damages, losses, impacts, resistance, situations, and changes developed after they left the country.
