Victims presented their products at the Inclusion Week in Cali
Entrepreneurs met, including victims of the conflict, in Cayzedo Square in Cali, who showed their experiences of work and improvement, within the framework of the Week of Inclusion for Equity.
Cayzedo Square, in the center of Cali, was the scene of a day in which entrepreneurs from vulnerable sectors and victims of conflict presented their products, sold and told about their experiences of work and improvement.
Present were people like Alba Sánchez, who suffered forced displacement in Chocó and today leads a group of women in his group Tejearte Colibrí, with whom she makes jewelry.
"I am no longer a victim, I am a survivor, my message is of strength to all women who have suffered war, union and solidarity among us are valuable tools to get ahead", said Alba.
This Entrepreneurship Fair was held within the framework of the Inclusion for Equity Week, led by the National Government entities that make up the Inclusion and Reconciliation sector, which are: the Victims Unit, the Prosperity Department Social, the Colombian Family Welfare Institute and the National Center for Historical Memory, with the accompaniment of the Mayor's Office of Cali, SENA and Comfenalco and Comfandi family compensation funds.
Luz Adriana Toro Vélez, territorial director of the Unit in El Valle , indicated that this Thursday, October 17, this same square will receive an Employability Fair in which guidance for employability will be offered to victims of conflict and the population of vulnerable sectors.
