Through institutional alliances and the installation of technical tables for higher education, victims of conflict have the opportunity to access educational training.

Within the framework of the permanent articulation that the Subdirectorate of Technical Coordination of SNARIV leads with different entities, institutional alliances are created that allow access to the institutional offer available to the victim population of the department of Córdoba.

Among the alliances and training centers is the National Learning Service (SENA), which has arranged its portfolio for access to employment options and training programs in technical and technological courses and careers for the population victim of armed conflict. This is currently conducting 25 complementary courses virtually in the Cordoba municipalities of Valencia, Montería, Tierralta, Cereté, Montelíbano, Planeta Rica, San Pelayo, Ciénaga de Oro and Canalete.

In this sense, in order to continue strengthening the alliances, the Unit proceeds to the formal installation of the Technical Board of Higher Education in the department, a strategy that aims to carry out management with the institutions of higher, technical and technological education to achieve alliances strategies that favor the victims in the development of the missionality of each of the parties (Higher Education Institution and the Victims Unit).

In addition, an educational offer map is established that allows people affected by the conflict to know all the possibilities of access to higher education and that can be found on the web portal: https://vgv.unidadvictimas.gov.co/mapaacademico/

"The academic offer map is an excellent information query tool that allows victims not only to access the available offers, but also to obtain more detailed information about the educational offer of their choice", said Mareila Burgos Negrette, territorial director of the Unit in Córdoba.
