The installation of technical tables for higher education began throughout the country
The formation of the table aims to articulate the SNARIV entities to manage support for victims in higher education.
With the presence of Junny La Serna, the deputy director of technical coordination of the National System of Comprehensive Attention and Reparation for victims (SNARIV), and the territorial director of the Victims Unit in the Atlantic, Alfredo Palencia, the first of 20 technical tables of higher education at the territorial level.
From this table, in the department of Atlántico, part of a SNARIV professional, in charge of managing with Higher Education institutions to achieve strategic alliances that favor victims of armed conflict in the development of the mission of each of the parties.
This facility is the first of the 20 to be carried out in July and August with all the territorial directorates of the Victims Unit, in development of the object of the national education table that will provide the technical guidelines that will serve as support for the table at the territorial level.
The objective of the board of education is to generate strategic alliances, in higher education in the fields of education, supply, exchange of information, generation of knowledge, social intervention, science and culture, through the subscription and signing of agreements or letters of understanding, for the benefit of victims of armed conflict.
Junny La Serna, deputy director of technical coordination of SNARIV noted that "higher education institutions have a variety of offerings and seek to channel it, actively supporting the Victims Unit for the benefit of the population affected by the conflict".
For his part, Alfredo Palencia, territorial director in Atlántico, pointed out that the Unit is working on everything related to the educational offer of this department and one of the purposes is to broaden the link of more universities with benefits for the population.
The tables will also support the management with the educational institutions located in Bogotá to achieve strategic alliances that favor the victims of armed conflict in the regions.
