Credits for victims with agricultural projects
Victims of armed conflict who have a productive project in this sector may request loans through Finagro.
The Victims Unit and the Fund for the Financing of the Agricultural Sector (Finagro) attached to the Ministry of Agriculture, invite the victims of Llanos Orientales to be part of the program "We open opportunities to the field", with which they can request loans to consolidate, undertake or sustain the agricultural production project they want.
With this initiative aimed especially at victims, the producer must develop his project, take it to the financial institution (first-rate banks) and request a Finagro line credit; in this way, the financial entity will be the one to approve it and then register the resources on Finagro line.
This program, which seeks to benefit the victims of armed conflict who are recognized in the Single Registry of Victims (RUV), offers loans with a very affordable interest rate of 0.4%, seeking to strengthen agricultural activities throughout the country.
Some of the bankable activities are support services, production, transformation, marketing and others such as mining, handicrafts, ecology, rural tourism and transformation of metals and precious stones, among others. The details of the call can be found on the website www.finagro.com.co.
The territorial director of the Victims Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Pardo Alezones, stressed that this type of program tends to strengthen victim families who are dedicated to working in the fields and also seeks that these families can overcome their state vulnerability, strengthening their ventures and thus guaranteeing economic stability.
