Victims of Fuente de Oro seek to advance in strengthening reparation initiatives
With “Un tinto a la Memoria”, 25 victims of armed conflict between young people and older adults, strengthen their knowledge to contribute to understanding, reflection and / or transformation of the consequences left by the armed conflict.
With the launch of the peace education initiative, 25 victims of armed conflict of “Asovicfro” Association, with the accompaniment of the Victims Unit, advance in their comprehensive reparation through the measure of Guarantees of no Repetition and Satisfaction.
"Un tinto por la memoria" became an educational space in which both young people and older adults in the municipality of Fuente de Oro, Meta, put all their knowledge to rebuild the social ¨network that their community lost due to the armed conflict and that they hope not to repeat.
During the conference, topics of reflection and dialogue on leadership and forms of organization of the territory in the context of armed conflict are explored, through the use of collective maps, promoting in this way, narratives and representations that allow to make visible what happened and what it is the role of the initiative in terms of guarantees of non-repetition.
Likewise, the leadership of the organizations in the territories is analyzed and the relationship with the armed conflict is made visible and thus, being able to know the leadership role that each person can and its impact, in each of the areas, including in the development of the initiative.
For the Victims Unit, support all initiatives that seek to leverage reconstruction, favor processes of dignity and destigmatization of victims, stimulate the recovery of weakened or lost social practices and / or knowledge, and enhance the remembrance of what happened in the framework of armed conflict from the perspective of the victims, as well as from the approaches made by some academics, is important and is part of the actions of Guarantees of Non-Repetition within the framework of Comprehensive reparation in the terms established in Law 1448 of 2011.
For his part, the territorial director of Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Arturo Pardo Alezones, mentions that this methodological transfer is developed through three days, which are accompanied by psychosocial professionals from the entity so that the implementation is done efficiently.
