There will be an inter-institutional table on forced disappearance in Urabá-Darién
In Urabá-Darién, 11,576 victims of enforced disappearance are included in the Single Registry of Victims, of which 3,358 are direct victims and 8,218 are relatives with first degree of consanguinity or civil (couple).
This Friday, May 31, from 9 am to noon, in the auditorium facilities of the Regional Center for Victim Services of municipality of Apartadó (Antioquia), the Victims Unit will participate in the inter-institutional thematic table on forced disappearance, convened by the regional Ombudsman's Office, entity that acts as the technical secretariat of Bureau.
This activity will be carried out within the framework of the week of the disappeared detainee, with two objectives: to coordinate actions to guarantee a better response to the families and the affected population group, and to monitor the commitments assumed in different areas preceded.
The thematic table will have the participation of municipal representatives of 14 municipalities on which the territorial direction of Unit in Urabá-Darién, of the technical body of investigation (CTI), delegates of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Nation, the Unit Special for the Search of Persons considered Disappeared in the context and by reason of armed conflict, the International Committee of the Red Cross, among other institutions that have competence in this issue and that are part of the National System of Attention and Integral Reparation to the Victims (Snariv).
At the table, leaders and organizations of victims of the subregion that are in the Unified Registry of Victims were also summoned because they have declared this type of facts.
