Survivors of conflict in Huila receive economic reparation
In this way, the Unit advances in the process of administrative reparation, as an engine for overcoming the conditions of vulnerability and improving the quality of life of victims, established in this department of the south of the country.
The territorial department Caquetá-Huila of the Victims Unit, delivered in Neiva, an approximate amount of $ 286 million to survivors of armed conflict residing in the capital of the department and surrounding municipalities.
At the end of the week, the entity will deliver 106 compensation, specifically to people over 74 years of age and with disabilities, according to the priority care route. It will be a total of $ 752 million that will benefit survivors residing in 21 of the 37 municipalities of the department of Huila.
"Compensation is a great blessing that the Victims Unit gives us and that God has recognized us because we are no longer abandoned," said Emelina Horta Pomar, an elderly person benefiting from the measure.
