With the commitment to improve the care provided by the Victims Unit in Putumayo, a pilot plan began on February 4 that seeks to strengthen programs that benefit that population in the department and, at the same time, avoid long lines and intermediaries who take personal advantage of the situation.

The project that links students from the territorial SENA Putumayo, proposes an allocation of shifts via telephone to decongest the point of attention in Mocoa and prevent the population from moving from one place to another, generating additional economic expenses.

According to German Narvaez Territorial Director of Putumayo, “the initiative seeks to guarantee the victim population the convenience and timely access to obtain a shift of attention without having to wait in line and expose themselves to the inclement weather".

As a complementary work, since January the territorial Putumayo has socialized this type of care with the victim population through orientation talks and different means of communication, for which it has implemented several strategies for effective dissemination of the care plan, which seeks to benefit 185,727 victims of armed conflict in that department.

For those interested, the telephone line 3209689856 was enabled, in which calls are received from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The implementation of pilot plan began in Mocoa and will be extended in the next days in the other seven points of attention in Putumayo.
