New day for awarding compensation in Magdalena
In this department, the Unit has delivered nearly $ 2.5 billion in the months of June and July, to victims of armed conflict by priority route.
In compliance with all the biosecurity protocols implemented by the national government, the Magdalena Territorial Directorate of the Victims Unit has delivered 234 letters of compensation, worth more than $ 2.5 billion to victims of armed conflict in this department.
On the last day, the entity delivered 16 letters of administrative compensation for a value exceeding $ 76 million to victims of armed conflict prioritized by disability, people over 74 years of age, orphan or catastrophic diseases.
According to Jair Diazgranados, Magdalena territorial director of the Victims Unit, "with the delivery of the check letters for priority compensation, according to resolution 1049 of 2019, we are complying with the victims".
For her part, Yaselis González, beneficiary of the compensation letter delivery day, assured that “I come from the municipality of Ciénaga, today I am receiving my check letter, with this money I plan to invest it in my little house that is in black construction; I thank God and the Victims Unit”.
