The delivery of letters of compensation by the Victims Unit, territorial Cesar-Guajira, is equivalent to more than 5 billion pesos.

In the day, in which 774 victims of armed conflict, 22 municipalities of Cesar and La Guajira, received the letter of administrative compensation, the priority had the elderly and people with disabilities, who thanked the Unit for having prioritized this population.

"We are fulfilling the victims, we are making a presence in the territory and we will continue carrying out these days of delivery of compensation, so that the beneficiary population will be greater," said Juan Felipe Acosta, Territorial Director (e).

Victims of 17 municipalities in Cesar and 5 municipalities in La Guajira, assured that the process to receive their compensation was direct and they never needed intermediaries.

"We know that the process for compensation is free and we do not need processors, we are very grateful to the Unit for its attention to the victims and today we receive this compensation to improve the quality of life of our families," said Leonardo Rodríguez Daza, beneficiary victim.
