Around 1.500 victims have been compensated in the municipalities that are part of the Urabá-Darién territorial direction of the Victims Unit, in the months of September and October of this year.

“These compensations correspond to the general and priority route, with which it is sought to comply with this comprehensive reparation measure. We seek to improve their living conditions, guide them to the proper management of resources and prevent them from fraud”, said Elizabeth Granada Ríos, territorial director of the Unit in Urabá and Darién.

Institutions of the National System of Attention and Reparation to Victims (SNARIV) have been linked to the deliveries, which in an articulated manner seek to reach those compensated through the institutional offer in housing, education and entrepreneurship, which allows them to take advantage of long term of this resource.

During the closing of this week, deliveries were made in municipalities of the subregion, including Necoclí and Arboletes, with resources that exceed 1.200 million pesos, it is expected to advance in the delivery of this budget designation.

It should be noted that the Unit warns victims against fraud and one of the preventive recommendations is non-delivery information on their processes or documents in offices outside the Unit, reminding them that the procedures are free and do not require intermediaries.

The Victims Unit makes the call to report irregular events through the website www.unidadvictimas.gov.co, directly in the Citizen Service tab requests, claims, suggestions and complaints or through the email. grupocontrafraudes@Unidadvictimas.gov.co. Criminal actions will be reported to the Attorney General's Office.
