The Chocó Territorial Victims Unit delivered the economic reparation to 39 people in Quibdó, within the priority route.

The Victims Unit, through different actions, is creating a strong bond with the population served and one of the important actions is the compensation given to people who suffered damages due to the Colombian armed conflict.

For this reason, the Unit established that it will be compensated within the priority route; that is, people with 74 years of age or older, people with some disability or reduced mobility and people with a catastrophic or high-cost illness.

On this occasion, 39 people were received the resolution with which they are notified of the compensation by the Colombian State. With the letter, they will be able to collect the resources in accordance with the victimizing fact registered in the Unique Victims Registry (RUV) and the total amount delivered was $ 381.032.815.

In addition, the day was used to explain about the appropriate line of investment of resources, make them an approach to the institutional offer that benefits them and inform them about the “Do not believe everything you hear” campaign, to avoid fraud.
