For the next few weeks the delivery of 53 compensation is scheduled in the municipality of Morales (Bolívar).

A total of 82 compensations totaling about 950 million pesos delivered by the Unit to victims of five municipalities under the Magdalena Medio Territorial Directorate.

The beneficiaries of these deliveries were victims residing in the municipalities of Puerto Wilches, Santander (10 compensation); Puerto Berrío, Antioquia (14), and in the Bolivarian municipalities of Simití (23), San Pablo (21) and Santa Rosa del Sur (14).

According to Héctor Gabriel Camelo, director in charge of the Victims Unit in Magdalena Medio, “we have carried out a work of articulation with the territorial entities to comply with the biosecurity protocols required by the health emergency and that are implemented at the time of the deliveries of notification of administrative compensation orders”.

"We have also provided support and advice for the adequate investment of resources, inviting people so that with the money they receive for compensation, they can invest in their productive projects, acquisition or improvement of housing, or in education", added the official.

For the next few weeks, the Magdalena Medio territorial unit of the Unit plans to deliver 53 indemnities in the municipality of Morales (Bolívar).
