Fulfilling the commitment of the Victims Unit in the visit of President Iván Duque and Director Ramón Rodríguez to Samaniego, the psychosocial reparation strategy began this Friday, in person with the families of the young people murdered in this area of ​​Nariño in the last days.

Through various activities such as the wall of memories, the symbolic presentation of their relatives in lit candles, among others, the attendees had the opportunity to express their feelings.

The territorial director of the Unit in Nariño, William Pinzón Fernández, expressed his solidarity and support with the affected families: “Today we arrived here as a Unit to fulfill the commitments generated in space with the President of the Republic, to remind them not to they are alone, we understand their pain, but above all to put at their disposal a psychosocial strategy that allows them an emotional repair in these difficult moments”.

Once the approach of the psychosocial team was finished, it was agreed with the families who wish to receive care via virtual means, within the framework of the emotional recovery strategy.

For his part, the mayor of Samaniego, Óscar Pantoja, reiterated the Administration's support in all matters that allow progress towards the clarification of the facts, different tributes on behalf of the victims, as well as the performance of symbolic acts in the municipality.
