441 victims of armed conflict from different municipalities of Caquetá, who were compensated by the Victims Unit, received orientation to invest resources in housing, productive projects and education.
The auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce of the city of Florence, served as scenario for the delivery of administrative compensation, by the territorial Caquetá-Huila of the Victims' Unit, to 441 survivors of the armed conflict, for a value of $ 2,145 million.
The event was attended by the mayor of the Municipality of Florencia, Andrés Mauricio Perdomo, delegates from entities such as the SENA, Banco Agrario, Open and Distance University ( Unad ) and Colpensiones , who presented the institutional offer to attendees, for the appropriate investment of the money.
"I feel very grateful for the Victims Unit, I am proud that things went as we wanted with respect to compensation letters in order to invest that resource in helping our families, or in setting up a business to sustain ourselves ,"said Reinel González García, one of the beneficiaries with the delivery of compensation,
On the other hand, Lucrecia Murcia, territorial director of the Unit for Victims, said that "we are very grateful that these people can receive their compensation and make good use of it, without intermediaries, without having to pay anyone, with priority for the elderly and people with disabilities.
