A total of 256 people victims of conflict who suffered events such as forced displacement, crimes against sexual integrity and the murder of a close family member received today their compensation letter from the National Government.

With this document, accompanied by original citizenship card, each one will be able to withdraw in the Agrarian Bank the resources that correspond to this measure of reparation, money that is determined by the victimizing fact suffered and of if this shelter other people of the nuclear family. The amounts are between 17 and 40 current monthly minimum wages. In this case, the beneficiaries reside in the municipalities of Cali, Jamundí, Candelaria, Yumbo and Dagua.

Jorge Vásquez, director (e) of Victims Unit in Valle del Cauca, indicated that this group of letters adds resources for $ 1,993 million. In Valle del Cauca, 452,001 victims are subject to care and / or reparation. In total, in that department resources have been delivered for $ 257,213 million for indemnities (with court as of July 31, 2018).
