About 2,500 people have been compensated this year, in Putumayo
More than $ 16.000 million have been invested to deliver this reparative measure to the victims of the department, one of the highest figures in the last three years.
Several positive aspects were highlighted in the management in the Putumayo territorial direction, after finalizing the institutional event "Review by the Directorate". The territorial director Germán Narváez assured that, despite the fact that much of this year has been worked in the framework of the pandemic, the figures on administrative reparation are encouraging, with around 2.500 people who have received their compensation during this period.
Likewise, more than 2.300 transfers of humanitarian aid have been delivered benefiting nearly 7.300 victims of the conflict in the department.
On the other hand, he highlighted that "we continue to advance with the issues of returns and relocations, we have had an approach with the different local administrations that have presented about 10 projects and we hope by the end of this year to be able to deliver endowments and community infrastructure as necessary which means an excellent articulated work”.
Regarding collective reparation processes, it was noted that of the 38 reparation subjects in the department, most of whom are indigenous populations, the collective reparation plans of four of these subjects will be closed shortly.
In addition, the delivery of 1.800 food packages donated to the victim population that had not received any type of aid so far was highlighted, in order to mitigate the difficult economic conditions caused by the quarantine.
Finally, the director Narváez assured that during the month of November packages of donations of clothing made by DIAN and some rolls of fabric will be delivered to associations that have shown that at this moment they are generating their income through manufacturing.
