Through its territorial direction in the Coffee Region, the Unit made an investment of $ 212 million in the payment of compensation to 56 survivors of armed conflict that live in the department of Risaralda and attended the call of the entity in the Regional Care Center to Victims.

From municipalities such as Guática, Dosquebradas, Santa Rosa de Cabal and Pereira, the coffee survivors were satisfied to be able to access this benefit because of one of the measures to which they are entitled in compliance with the repair route.

"The most important of these resources that are being delivered today by our entity is that they know how to manage, hence the appropriate investment workshop of which they have just been involved, we know that this will not recover what was lost within the conflict, but we hope it can serve as a balm for their lives and this will lead to a much more hopeful future for both you and your families", said Laura Moreno, territorial director.

This week the Unit is delivering a total of 113 compensations to the same number of victims in the territory for $ 558 million. Other of the localities benefited with the deliveries are: Palestine, Pennsylvania, Manizales, Riosucio and San José in Caldas; Armenia, Calarcá and Pijao in Quindío.

José Muñoz and his parents were beneficiaries of this new day of delivery: "I feel very good and happy, thank God because a long time ago we were waiting for him, this was a forced displacement in which we had to leave everything lying down, now we are going to join among the three to be able to give an initial fee of the house that I long for my parents".

"We lost everything in the conflict, but today, together with my family, we recover our hope, I thank the Unit for this money, which has to be spent wisely. To the people that like me were waiting for this resource I ask you to present projects, because the State has money to invest in the population, but sometimes we are very calm and we fall short in the initiatives", was the invitation of Luis Marín, with the victims.
