Victims of the municipality of Pivijay received letters of compensation for a value that exceeded $ 2.460 billion pesos.

The Magdalena Territorial Unit for Victims, developed a day of delivery of letters of compensation for five days in which 303 victims of armed conflict in the municipality of Pivijay were favored, with an investment of $ 2.468.551.276.47.

During the delivery days, the benefited victims received a socialization for the adequate investment of resources, the care and prevention that they must have when making the collection process, in order to contribute to the proper use of the money received.

Jair Diazgranados, territorial director for the Magdalena of the Victims Unit, stated that “the victims who are economically repaired are prioritized due to their emergency situation, people over 74 years of age, with some illness or disability, the administrative compensation seeks to help the victims. victims of armed conflict to rebuild their life projects and help the strengthening caused by violence”.

The sessions were carried out with the accompaniment of the Pivijay Mayor's Office and in compliance with the biosafety protocols required by the national government.
