184 victims of conflict were repaired in 26 municipalities of Cauca
The day was attended by Enrique Ardila, national director of Reparation of the Victims Unit.

With an act that was held in the auditorium of SENA, in the city of Popayán, the Victims Unit delivered 184 people included in the Single Victims Registry, compensation for a total value of over $ 1,400 million pesos.
The victims benefited reside in the municipalities of Algeria, Balboa, Bolivar, Mercaderes, Patía, El Tambo, La Sierra, Morales, Popayán, Silvia, Timbío, Buenos Aires, Corinto, Jambaló, Miranda, Puerto Tejada, Santander, Suárez, Toribío, Guapi, Lopez de Micay, Caldono, Cajibío, Almaguer, La Vega, and Caloto.
Elia Mosquera, victim of forced displacement, said that thanks to this support he will be able to start a new life. "I thank God and the Victims Unit for the support and because today I received my compensation, to buy my house, which is what I need the most".
The event was attended by Enrique Ardila, national director of Reparation for the Victims Unit, who said: "We are pleased to be here in the department of Cauca, telling the victims that they are not alone, that the State accompanies them, that the government of President Iván Duque is responding to victims, in addition to that, we are offering a range of services involving the SENA, Icetex and different university institutions so that the beneficiaries make an adequate investment of what they receive today".
Dan Harry Sánchez Cobo, territorial director of the Victims Unit in Cauca, confirmed his commitment to the population affected by the violence. "These actions allow to consolidate the public policy raised around the victim population of country, allowing us to continue advancing in the integral reparation of all families affected by years of war in the department of Cauca", he said.
During the day, the Unit also provided guidance to the beneficiaries on the adequate investment of resources delivered by the National Government, complementing it with the offer of other state entities that allows them to make productive use of them.
