The Putumayo territorial unit for the Victims Unit, headed by its director, Germán Narváez, took the offer of state entities to the municipality of Puerto Asís so that the victims received personalized guidance on the services and programs promoted by the entity.

The assistants arrived with the expectation of being able to obtain information on the progress of their processes related to administrative acts, individual reparation, compensation or humanitarian aid.

This was the case of Yina Zambrano, a survivor of a terrorist attack in 2004. This woman from a village in Puerto Asís wanted to find out about the compensation process. "I am here at the Fair because I want to know about my compensation process, about the resource I need as a victim to have a benefit and improve my quality of life".

A shocking testimony was provided by this survivor while awaiting her turn of attention. She recalled that she received two rifle shots in her head, which affected his mobility and left her speechless for a long time. A terrorist attack that left sequels not only physical, but emotional, but hopes to overcome with support from the Unit.

After being attended by the counselors, she was motivated because they told her that she should present her disability certificate and other documents at the point of attention to start her process.

During the day, the attendees also had the institutional offer of more than 15 national and territorial entities, who announced their portfolio of services and offers from various areas such as health, education, employment and finance to advance their life projects.

The support of the Mayor's Office and the Justice for a Sustainable Peace Program of Usaid, for the realization of the event, stands out. Likewise, the participation of professionals of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace, who provided guidance on the rights and participation of victims in this justice mechanism.
