The Unit delivered agricultural kits to 167 young people in Suratá, Santander
The beneficiary community, in which there are victims of armed conflict, received tools and supplies, which will strengthen agricultural training with products from the region and will allow them to return to work in the fields with the creation of productive projects.
In Santander, the Unit for Victims delivered agricultural kits to the victim community of the townships of Turbay and Mohán, municipality of Suratá, which will be used for the agricultural training of the Francisco San Juan college institution and by the entire population of this sector.
The kits are made up of tools, materials, and other supplies, complying with the agreement and implementing the measure of the comprehensive collective reparation plan for the community of these townships.
The beneficiary population of the Turbay and Mohán townships thanked the Victims Unit for the support provided in the process of their comprehensive reparation. "With these tools, the students will strengthen their agricultural work and give multiple benefits in the future," said Jhon Gómez, rector of the main headquarters of Colegio Francisco San Juan, who received the tools from the Unit.
For the territorial director of the Unit in Santander Gonzalo García, this type of aid "demonstrates the commitment of the Unit and the national government in fulfilling the victims of conflict in the department of Santander."
The Unit will continue with the process of collective reparation in Suratá and all the municipalities of Santander in which these actions are carried out in favor of the victim population.
