Through these remedial measures, the Victims' Unit succeeds in influencing the construction of peace throughout the country.

Through a teleconference in which officials from the Victims' Unit and members of the subject of collective reparation, the Popular Training Institute (IPC), participated, the strengthening resolution for the IPC was approved.

This was announced by Juanita Ibáñez Santamaría, deputy director of collective reparation for the Unit for Victims, who pointed out that the CPI is a subject of national incidence that through its work has managed to strengthen community processes of populations that suffered the armed conflict.

"Today, through the approval of the strengthening resolution, for an amount of $ 428 million, the Unit for Victims, along with the IPC, will implement 40 percent of its collective reparation plan approved through seven measures and more than 22 actions ranging from research, documents and publications, to participation in events.   With the above, plus a series of actions that we will do through the Unit for Victims, we will be able to close one hundred percent of the Collective Reparation Plan of the IPC subject, a national case, "said Juanita Ibáñez.

If the goal is met, with the CPI there will be seven processes with collective subjects closed since the implementation of Law 1448/2011.
