Fourth day of damage diagnosis was completed in Norosí
The visit to this municipality located in the South of Bolívar was also used to deliver 300 family kits, thanks to the donations received by the Unit from the DIAN.
In order to identify the effects suffered in the context of armed conflict, the Victims Unit met for two days with the subject of collective reparation from the municipality of Norosí (Bolívar).
According to Amparo Chicué Cristancho, Magdalena Medio territorial director of the Victims Unit: “We did the fourth day of application of tools to diagnose the damage of the subject of collective reparation in the municipality of Norosí. For biosafety reasons, only 20 people from the seven townships of the municipality participated, as well as from the municipal seat”.
“The balance of the visit was very positive as we culminated with the application of the tools; after this there will be a day of socialization of the draft of the document and later its validation to close the damage diagnosis phase, and move on to the new phase that will be the formulation of the Comprehensive Collective Repair Plan, which we hope be next year", said the official.
The visit to Norosí was also used to deliver 300 family kits, thanks to donations from DIAN, which were distributed as follows: “More than 50 kits for people who are part of the Steering Committee and who have been accompanying the plan of collective reparation, the same to representatives of the municipal participation table and some victims with disabilities, and others that will be delivered during the community boarding sessions that will be held in the municipality between September 21 and 28 by the group of returns and relocations of the Unit ”, added Amparo Chicué.
These packages contain clothing, footwear, jewelry accessories and hardware items, among other items.
Finally, the territorial director of the Unit held a dialogue with some representatives of the municipal victims' committee on the participation protocol and the accompaniment of the entity together with the Mayor's Office, to establish agreements in the characterization process in Norosí, among other issues.
