First knowledge exchange in the territory of Nasa La Gaitana Collective Repair Subject (Caquetá)

The Victims Unit Territorial Directorate Caquetá - Huila, accompanied the exchange of knowledge between the Nasa La Gaitana (Caquetá) Shelter community and the Nasa community of Pioyá (Cauca), which took place on Vergel sidewalk Florencia.

This is the first meeting that takes place in the territory of the subject of collective reparation at the national level, with the participation, in addition, of representatives of NASA councils of El Paujil, Doncello and Puerto Rico (Caquetá).

During the activity, strengthening of the indigenous guard, traditional medicine, doctor, the midwife, the push button, the botanist, the harmonization of places, the ritual of refreshing and the designation of the sacred space, the exchange of agricultural products and The tour of the territory.

For Luz Derly Mayorga, Nasa governor of La Gaitana shelter, “it was a very nice experience, we are very grateful to all of you and the people who came because they left us some lessons that help us to strengthen ourselves day by day, that give us strength to continue. Grateful to the Unit for joining us in the process because for us it is very important to have the indigenous guard strengthened by traditional doctors”.

For its part, the territorial director (e) of the Unit in Caquetá and Huila, Sandra Jhovana Bello, said that "we can see a more empowered community in its reparation process and with a significant strengthening of its traditional practices".

Visitors showed significant progress in the process of emotional and cultural recovery, and congratulated the hosts for the achievements made in the final phase of comprehensive repair route.
