The day was held at Daniel Villa Zapata stadium in the oil port.

A total of 54 indemnities were delivered to the same number of survivors of armed conflict in the city of Barrancabermeja, Santander.

In the activity, which was supported by professionals from the territorial management of the Victims Unit in the Magdalena Medio, the approximate amount of $ 673 million was delivered, which results in comprehensive reparation for the victims of conflict.

The day was held in order to compensate the survivors of armed conflict with a differential approach of the elderly, since 90% of those who received the administrative compensation letter exceed 70 years.

In the development of the activity, officials of the entity offered information about how to make an adequate investment of the resources received, through the strategy of the accompaniment area that refers to financial education for the elderly.

For Amparo Chicué Cristancho, territorial director of the Victims Unit in Magdalena Medio, “it is a great satisfaction for the State to make this delivery, since you have waited for this compensation for a long time, however, in this way we show that as Government we are fulfilling”

Finally, the anti-fraud campaign of the entity called "Don´t believe everything you hear" was socialized, which seeks for survivors to identify the fraudulent actions to which they are exposed and thus not be fooled.
