In Florence, members of the Caquetá Victim Effective Participation Board were trained to formulate viable and timely initiatives, and their subsequent visibility and impact on the construction of development plans. The technical assistance day was in charge of the Victims Unit, with the accompaniment of delegates from the Caquetá Governorate and the Regional Ombudsman's Office.

According to the Deputy Director of Nation-Territory Coordination of the Unit for Victims, Carolina Cotes, the objective of these days will be “to guarantee the continuity and sustainability of the processes of assistance, care and integral reparation that have been implemented at the territorial level with emphasis on the goals established by the national Government in the National Development Plan 2018-2022, Pact for Colombia, pact for equity ”.

For his part, Mayerly Rivas, Departmental coordinator of the Caquetá Victims' Table, said that “for us it is of great appreciation because the victims had not had the opportunity to participate directly and in a very pedagogical way to formulate the magna proposal of the governors. ”

"For me it is important to participate in these scenarios in relation to the development plan, because I can transmit it in the municipality in a positive way to people who are interested in not being excluded," said Alba Lucía Parra, representative of the Municipal Board of Puerto Rico, Caquetá.

In total, there will be 71 days ahead of the Victims Unit and they hope to end the first week of March
