The Unit shared the progress of the Return and Relocation Plan with victims of Recetor (Casanare)
This activity allows the participation of victims in the process and guarantees transparency in its execution.
The Unit for Victims held a community dialogue with representatives of victims of Recetor (Casanare), in which the progress of the actions contained in the Return and Relocation Plan of the municipality was reviewed.
During the day, the victims' representatives were informed about the actions taken; those that are still pending execution, and the new actions that, due to the community's need, were generated since the last meeting were agreed.
Likewise, the nearly 20 participants in the dialogue, including Mayor Édgar Bernal, visited some of the places where works related to the plan are underway to verify its physical progress. It is the case of Fernando Rodríguez Educational Institution, where the Unit and the municipality joined forces to build a microfootball field.
The director of the Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Pardo Alezones, highlighted that this type of activity allows the participation and knowledge of the victims about the Return and Relocation Plan, and guarantees transparency in its execution.
From the projects co-financed by the Recetor Unit and the Mayor's Office in this plan, nearly 1.000 people from the municipality have benefited.
