This activity, carried out in this municipality of Casanare, allows the participation and knowledge of the victims about the Return and Relocation Plan and guarantees transparency in the process.

The Victims Unit met with representatives of the population affected by the conflict in Chámeza (Casanare), to socialize aspects related to the Municipality's Return and Relocation Plan.

During the session, the victims' representatives were informed about the actions carried out in the municipality with the plan; pending actions to be completed, and new actions that were generated by the community's need since the last community dialogue.

Likewise, the Unit presented the projects delivered by the Municipal Mayor's Office for approval and execution in counterpart with the entity. These are six initiatives among which are the endowment for the municipality's Medical House, and the endowment of instruments for the music school and sports elements for educational institutions in the rural sector.

For the director of the Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Pardo Alezones, these types of activities allow the participation and knowledge of the victims about the Return and Relocation Plan and guarantee transparency in the process.

Of the projects co-financed by the Unit and the Chámeza Mayor's Office within the framework of the Return and Relocation Plan, about 1.247 people from the municipality have benefited.
