The entity also reported the results regarding returns and relocations with the communities referenced in the early warning such as Corcovado and Micoahumado.

The Intersectoral Commission for Rapid Response to Early Alerts (CIPRAT) held a virtual session, in order to carry out the second follow-up to the recommendations of Early Warning 019-19 for the municipality of Morales, south of Bolívar, and to the actions developed by the Magdalena Medio territorial of the Victims Unit.

The meeting was attended by the Technical Secretariat of the CIPRAT, chaired by the Ministry of the Interior, the Office of the Ombudsman, the National Army, the National Police, the National Protection Unit, the Secretary of the Interior of the Government of Bolívar and the Attorney General's Office of the nation.

According to Amparo Chicué Cristancho, director of the Victims Unit in Magdalena Medio, “during the meeting the different entities announced their progress on the recommendations issued by the Early Warning System of the Ombudsman's Office that allow the mitigation of the risks warned and in compliance with the prevention and alert system for rapid reaction to risks and threats to the rights to life, integrity, liberty and personal safety, civil and political liberties, and infractions to the IHL and risks and threats due to the presence of organizations, and criminal behavior”.

“As a Unit for Victims, we highlight the accompaniment and technical assistance to the construction of the contingency plan and each of its routes to prevent the recruitment and use of boys and girls, human rights defenders; likewise, the enlistment activities for the care of massive humanitarian emergencies and the offer of the subsidiary support process for the delivery of immediate humanitarian aid”, added the official.

It was also announced about the work of the Unit's returns and relocations group, in relation to the community approaches carried out in the referenced communities in early warning, such as the Corcovado and Micoahumado townships, the latter subject to collective reparation in their community enlistment stage.
