Elderly people affected by the conflict received financial reparation
The territorial Santander of the Victims Unit, delivered 73 administrative indemnities to survivors of armed conflict.
In the cities of Bucaramanga, Florida Blanca, Piedecuesta and Girón, the Victims Unit made the delivery of nearly $ 600 million effective, represented in letters of compensation for 73 survivors of armed conflict.
The deliveries were directed to people belonging to the priority attention route, consisting of people over 74 years of age, with disabilities or catastrophic diseases, as established in resolution 1049 of 2019.
"In the course of my life I have gone through many moments of uncertainty and pain but thank God and my family I have been overcoming them, along the way I have been presented by little angels disguised as people who have helped me and guided me, among they are the Victims Unit and the Ombudsman, who have guided me without any commitment", said Yamile Carrillo, a survivor of conflict who benefited.
The territorial management made the deliveries complying with the biosafety requirements to guarantee the integrity of people benefited with the compensation measure, in the framework of the emergency by COVID-19 decreed by the national government.
