The Unit will develop projects for victims with the municipalities of Chámeza and Recetor
The municipal administrations of these two towns in Casanare, expressed their intention to focus projects for the returned and relocated communities.
Casanare municipalities of Chámeza and Recetor, at the head of their mayors, presented letters of intent to be participants in the Special Schemes for Community Accompaniment (EEAC) of the Victims Unit, in force 2020.
Through the letters, the leaders promised to contribute the economic resources, labor, land transportation, mule and / or ride, if necessary, for the development of initiatives, aimed at contributing to overcoming the vulnerable situation, and advance in the process of community integration and territorial roots of the survivors of conflict.
For the municipality of Chámeza, there are nine projects that will be studied by the Unit and that may be made viable. In the case of Recetor, 11 initiatives will be evaluated.
In this regard, the territorial director of the Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Pardo Alezones, recalled that social and community infrastructure projects will receive a boost from the entity, through the physical supply of materials for construction or endowment with furniture and those of agricultural type by means of the delivery of inputs such as seeds, fingerlings or tools.
According to the established times, all the initiatives that receive the endorsement of the Unit will have to have been executed before the end of this year.
It is important to mention that the municipalities of Chámeza and Recetor have been able to access the offer of projects, thanks to the fact that their Returns and Relocations plans are approved.
