Victims Unit delivered economic reparations to 226 survivors of conflict in Caquetá
The Caquetá and Huila Territorial Directorate of the entity continues with the task of compensating victims of armed conflict.
In the facilities of the Chamber of Commerce of the capital of Caquetá, 226 survivors of armed conflict, residing in different municipalities of this department, received compensation letters representing an investment close to $ 1.3 billion from the Victims Unit.
The letters were addressed to victims of conflict belonging to the priority care route, that is, people with 74 years or more, with certified disability or orphan, catastrophic, terminal diseases, as established in resolution 1049 of 2019.
Oscar Andrés Collazos Morales, benefited from the day, said that "it is something very good that comes to us at this time, it will help us solve aspects of our lives to generate a much better project, they are very good opportunities."
On the other hand, Yhina Paola Lombana López, territorial director of the Unit in Huila and Caquetá said: “We have delivered 2,020, 663 indemnities in force; and we are already at $ 2,530 million in Caquetá alone”.
During the notification day, attendees received information about the educational offer of the Open and Distance Unit UNAD, and savings and credit alternatives at the Agrarian Bank.
