Victims access the services rendered by the Unit during the day of attention in Colón

Survivors from this area of Putumayo attended the scheduled appointment to receive advice from the territorial team of the Victims Unit.

More than 100 survivors of the armed conflict of the upper Putumayo benefited, after telephone dialing, of the day of attention carried out in the Cultural House of the municipality of Colón.

On this occasion, Germán Narváez, territorial director of the Unit had the opportunity to interact with the attendees and coordinate actions to improve connectivity to technical failures.

The attendees had the attention of the professional of Registration and Information Management, who provided advice before the consultations on notifications of administrative acts, compensation, individual reparation, humanitarian aid or news of registration, among other topics.

This was the case of María Burbano, a displaced woman from the municipality of El Tablón de Gómez (Nariño), who arrived in Colón 16 years ago. This survivor attended the day with the intention of making news in its Unique Victims Registry and with this,  be able to access   processes that allow her to improve her quality of life, such as humanitarian aid or administrative compensation.

In total, 105 users managed to receive the attention of the team of the Victims Unit and also to learn about the institutional offer that provides   Colpensions   for this population group in the Amazon region.
