The Victims Unit delivered 16 tons of immediate humanitarian aid, worth $ 171 million, for the displaced and confined population since April in Juradó, Chocó.

Since the second week of April, when disturbances to public order affected 11 indigenous communities of the Nussi Purrú and Juradó reservations, the Victims Unit has supported the coordination of immediate humanitarian attention and assistance to displaced and confined persons by the illegal armed actors.

The results and requests for intervention have been notified and accepted on May 5. In these scenarios, in addition, a large group of cooperation agencies participated who expressed their willingness to contribute to the improvement of living conditions of the affected population, from their own offer, through deliveries that range from continuity to school days while the humanitarian emergency persists, until the evaluation and adaptation of the shelter places, among others.

In the case of displaced persons, shelters were provided such as mats, sheets, mosquito nets, towels, kitchen implements, crockery, among other implements.
