A total of 2.397 Special Family Support Schemes (EEAF) for more than $ 27.000 million will be delivered by the Victims Unit during the month of December.

The departments that will benefit from the largest number of EEAFs are Antioquia, Bolívar, Córdoba and Chocó, while the total number of PDET municipalities (Development Programs with a Territorial Approach) are 34.

For Yolman Osorio Solano, coordinator of the Unit's returns and relocations group, “the EEAF implementation strategy is aimed at households included in the Single Registry of Victims, due to the victimizing act of forced displacement, which are being accompanied in processes return, relocation or local integration”.

Likewise, Osorio assured that the EEAF seeks to develop and increase the productive potential in these households, taking advantage of their capacities and creating opportunities to achieve, in the medium and long term, their social and economic stabilization, through the delivery of inputs for start or strengthen businesses and thus the capacities of households to guarantee a decent subsistence and make their return, relocation or local integration process sustainable.

Additionally, they will be educated and trained in diplomas and workshops that allow them to strengthen their capacities and also their businesses. In the same way, the territorial entities complement these schemes with their own offer that ranges from support and operating permits to their formalization.

To be a beneficiary of a scheme, households must not have been participants or be participating in processes that include the offer provided by the entities of the National System for Comprehensive Attention and Reparation to Victims and other public and / or private entities with similar scope whose purpose is the implementation of Special Accompaniment Schemes.

For the 2021 term, it is intended to carry out this process through a call, where the victims of forced displacement located in targeted PDET municipalities can register through the entity's website and start the application process to become beneficiaries of a Special Scheme of Family Accompaniment.
